Graduating is a BIG DEAL - schedule your portrait session to document this milestone!
We believe that YOU should be in control of how that investment is spent. All of our experiences are booked by paying a session fee, which includes a specific number of digital images. You will have the opportunity to view your proofs and narrow them down to your absolute favorites.
Our studio is centrally-located on the Gulf Coast, in Pensacola, Florida. Our home range extends from Rosemary Beach, Florida to Mobile, Alabama. We regularly work in Destin, Watercolor, Seaside, Santa Rosa Beach, 30-A, Navarre Beach, Seagrove, Fort Morgan, Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key, Fort Walton, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Fairhope.
If you would like to work with a specific Wave photographer, please let us know when you first inquire. Please be aware that requesting a specific photographer may limit the availability we are able to offer you. Our entire team is trained to approach your session in the same way, so the quality of your images should not vary based upon your photographer assignment.
Yes, depending on which photography experience you book! Our studio sessions are limited to one location (our studio); with an on-location session, we are glad to visit multiple spots for maximum variety!
Yes, depending on which type of session you are booking. Our studio is only open for sessions on weekdays, but we do carry some Saturday and Sunday availability for on location sessions, depending on which Pensacola senior photographer you want to work with!
Living on the coast means unpredictable weather, and there is often a 40% chance of rain every day. We have learned to wait until about two hours before your session start time to make a weather call, and often the prettiest skies open up after a dreary day. If your photographer decides the weather is too unpredictable to move forward with your session, we will offer you a make-up date if we have one available. If we are unable to reschedule your session, then you will receive a full refund.
We sure do! If you are interested in a cap and gown photo alone, then we recommend booking a headshot session. If you would like a cap and gown photo as part of your Senior Experience, we can do that too! We can either start at our studio for a formal photo, or you can bring your cap and gown on location for some creative photos. Please note that we do not stock or supply caps or gowns.
Most of our seniors wear 3-4 outfits for their session. If you are interested in representing a specific hobby or interest, then one of these outfits could be specialized or a uniform (e.g., a soccer jersey, ballet costume, or a band uniform).
Your Pensacola senior photographer works full-time in our studio and is trained by our Creative Director. But what does that really mean for our clients? Before you sign the contract, you will be paired with a specific photographer so you have the opportunity to develop an amazing working relationship prior to your session day.
You sure can! We love it when a senior arrives with their guitar, or boxing gloves, or ballet shoes. When speaking with your photographer about your session goals (before your session), please make sure to mention any hobbies and interests that help define you. We love incorporating your interests into your session, and this can also help us suggest locations that complement your props.
You can expect to receive your gallery within two weeks of your session (though we are often faster). Once you make your selections, we will perform any requested retouches and you will receive your final images about a week later (depending on whether you have any editing requests, and how extensive those requests might be). However, if you need a specific photo faster in order to meet a deadline, please let us know in advance and remind us at your session; if we are able to accommodate your request, then we absolutely will!
Yes! Your photos will be edited for color and lighting prior to you viewing them, and we will gladly do everything we can to make them “perfect” for you!
Absolutely. Your images will be edited for light and color, and usually need no additional retouching at all. However, we are glad to perform more extensive retouching on your final selections, upon request. Here are some examples of common retouching requests that are typically easy for us to accommodate: editing blemishes from your skin, removing strangers in the background of your photos, fixing a shirt tag that is sticking out of your collar, or making your arm appear slightly thinner. Once you make your selections, let us know if you have any requests at all, and we will be glad to do our best. Though most retouch requests can be performed relatively easily and at no additional cost, extensive retouching may incur an hourly editing fee (but we will make sure we have your approval prior to beginning any work).
Our booking process is streamlined, intuitive, and simple. Either submit our online contact form, or give us a call. We will discuss your needs, availability, and get your photography experience booked in a flash!
- Your start time will be determined entirely by the type of session, and the location. Studio sessions are booked from 9am-5pm on weekdays. Sessions taking place off-site, can begin any time of day, depending on the location, light, and your schedule.
Every client and session is unique, and so the number of proofs varies based on the details of your session. In general, you can expect to receive 60-100 images in your proofing gallery.
We are partnered with a top-notch professional lab and would love for you to invest in a high quality print - you can even order prints and canvases directly from your final gallery! We recommend professional-quality prints for sizes 11x14 and larger.
Absolutely! Contact us and we would be glad to provide a printable gift card that you can wrap or email as you choose. Our gift card amounts are based on our session types (rather than flat dollar amounts), and begin at $125.
